What happens to your donation

Clear information from contribution to support update

Support pages show the requested amount, associated contributions, applicant, purpose, and updates. Alawi receives contributions and determines how support is provided for that purpose.

Secure processing. Payment details are handled by established providers and are not shared in full with applicants.
Alawi stewardship. Alawi retains control of contributions and documents its independent support decisions for the approved purpose.
Instant receipt. A donation receipt is emailed to you the moment your payment goes through.

Applicants submit truthful requests for themselves or a pet in their care. Alawi decides whether to publish a support page and how to provide support for the approved purpose.
